Easy install on my Dell XPS laptop - M140 and great increase in performance for Vista....lot quicker and faster. I had a 1gb ram (2 512mb's) I replaced one of the 512's with the 2gb and now its 2.5 GB.

Check the specs for your gear. Purchase this module from Buy.com. Pop it in. I got two of these. I put one in an Asus Eee PC 1000H running XP. Drop-dead simple, except had to explicitly enter the BIOS at bootup (was configured to do a quick boot so wouldn't notice the extra ram). I put the other in a Dell Inspiron 6400 running Vista. The OS recognized it without any drama. Sweet x2!
